Making multiple AVI's as one AVI

A friend is trying to download a series off the internet and rip it to DVD. Unfortunately each episode has been made into an AVI meaning loads of AVI's. He has no problem converting AVI to DVD but his problems is how can he make all these AVI's as one whole AVIthus allowing him to rip all of them at once onto dvd? Is there a piece of software that stick loads of AVI's together and makes them as one AVI??? TIA

You should be able to use Windows Movie Maker for that.
