Windows Media library problem

After I select and play a song,instead of following on in
sequence,it plays another tune at random.
What has gone wrong,system restore didn't help.?

Sounds like you've got the "shuffle" button activated. It's the one at the bottom with the two intersecting arrows.

One says 'Switch to compact mode' the other is ;Full screen' is that right?

Sorry,I've found it,but that doesnt help either.
Whichever title I click on,it still plays the same title over again.
