Flying to Melbourne

Are there any online sites that allow you to book flights to Melbourne from the UK and just pay a deposit or can I only do this in a travel agent

I don't think you can ever book flights by paying just a deposit.

It is only complete package holidays where you can do that because the travel company have got a specific allocation of flights already booked..

Have booked flights with MyTravel and Excel in the past and only paid a deposit. I think a lot depends on whether it is a charter or scheduled flight. Have looked on both of these but neither fly to Australia unfortunatly
