Paypal Credit Card Payments to Ebay
3 Answers
Does anyone have any experience of linking a credit card to a Paypal account.
If I withdraw cash at an ATM, I'm charged the amount plus a fee. Does a payment to a seller on Ebay work in the same way ie would the credit card company charge the amount plus the fee to my card? I am transferring cash after all at the end of the day
Alternatively, does it work just like a purchase in a shop where only the purchase amount is charged to my card following the transfer?
I'm thinking of linking a credit card to a Paypal account, but I'd like to be sure how it's going to work before committing myself. The paypal website does not make it clear.
Many Thanks.

However, be aware that if anything goes wrong with your eBay purchase you cannot expect the credit card company to refund you, as they would if you bought directly from a shop without going through PayPal.
Some credit cards voluntarily protect you with PayPal purchases and it will be part of the terms and conditions, but they are not legally obliged to do so.
