I have an old chair from a three-piece suite that I want to cover. I want to make a slip cover but don't know where to begin. Anyone have any ideas or know where I could get a pattern to adapt? Thanks!

Take a look at patterns 9529, 5383 and 5699, here:

NB: That's a strangely designed site. Click on the picture (NOT the text link), for a larger view. You'll probably find that only a tiny window opens. Click on the 'maximize' button to see the picture.

What about taking the old cover off, unpicking it and using it as a pattern?
Make a rough pattern with brown paper. You can probably do it in four pieces and then stitch them together.
