Hey, I have Telewest cable, internet and phone (3 for 30) . My telwest box in my front living room and has a cable coming from the box to the socket in the wall and it is only about 1 metre long. I wanted to move my living room around and have the tv at the back of the room. I telephoned telewest and asked to buy a longer cable so i could do this, but they said they will not supply longer cables as it is a health and safety hazard due to people tripping over etc. The only thing they would offer me is to relocate the socket in the wall for 75!!!!!!! So i guess im stuck unable to move my room round after all. HAs anyone else done this or does anyone know if you can get telewest cables but not through telewest? Theyre a strange white cable with a screw thing on and a pin that looks as if it is made from brake cable.
Thanks in advance :)

I have just answered my own question if anyone else is wondering how to do this, the cable is above on ebay pretty cheap :)
Just thought i'd share with you all!

They just use standard coaxial cable. Cable and ends available at your local DIY store. (Though for a quid a metre inc postage eBay may be cheaper!)
