i know what you get tattooed on yourself is completely up to you.. but i think this is a rather disturbing tattoo to get on yourself, and also makes me wonder about the person who had it tattooed on themselves.
What are your views on this subject? and the comments underneath the picture?

Goodsoulette it just as bad really thinking about it.. i know they never found out who jack the ripper is, so its still just an 'unrecogniseable' image, but someone has obviously gone into a tattoo parlour and asked for a drawing to resemble what they think jack the ripper may have looked like. i just find something odd about wanting that tattooed on you. of course i think if someone wanted a recognised serial killer such as Hindley, or Bundy then it would be worse and because of that more offensive.
i find the fact that one of the women in the comments finds nothing wrong with getting a sleeve done of serial killers really worrying.

From Hell was good insofar as it showed The Elephant Man in full colour.
Interesting fact, which I have mentioned on here before, is that old potato head Joseph Merrick himself is believed in certain quarters as a suspect for the Whitechaple slashings. He was in St Thomas's at the very same time as the murders, before he was given a room in the hospitals and between spells in various Victorian Freak shows, he limped through the streets of the easy end in a huge balaclava maybe fantasising about women he knew he would never have. The bitter irony of The Elphant Man is his genitals were completely unaffected by the various conditions his cruelly suffered.
However, due to pressure from The Proteus Society, the web link I mentioned scrubbed Merrick from the suspect link.
Another wonderful fact from Wardy.

It was pippster. I quite like the theory of a woman being the Ripper, but in all honesty even with archaic forensic science in Victorian England, would the fairer sex be capable of such brilliance? Capable of evil, hell yes, a woman scorned in the Devil him(her)self, but elluding the authorites with such delicate detail and masterminding at least 8 murders without being caught? No, Mr Ripper was a man.
