My son may need an op to remove a congenital hydrocele. I wondered if anyone (men) have had it done, or anyones sons have had it done?

Oporation is worrying me and the fact that he's such an active boy that recovery is doing to be hard to manage if he wont sit still!

Comparatively speaking it's a relatively easy operation to recover from. Given that he is active as well is good. It'll help promote his recovery. Just so long as he doesn't do too much stretching too soon.

He'll be in and out of hospital before you know it.

Hope it all goes well.
