Yep, always. Maybe speak to the manager of your one and ask them to fix the keep-warm-shelf (?)
Hot!?! Hot!?!

Usually my SteakBake(TM) are like molten gravy inside!

My only complaint is the massive queue of council house "women" purchasing armfulls of sausage rolls for their spawn in pushchairs every lunchtime.

bought them everywhere'bought a corned beef pastie in doncaster yesterday, was warm round edges and cold in middle
didnt realise that because i am married with a child and eat sausage rolls i am from a council estatre, do private house dwellers not eat them then??
sorry that should have said a "woman" with a child
no gina, he obviously didn't mean you- you're married ;-)
At the Shrewsbury Folk Festival this weekend, I paid 4-50 for a pie...it was lukewarm.
4.50 for a bloody pie??? Was it gold plated??? Corrrr even with my greedy belly i'd rather starve than pay that for a ruddy pie.
How can you afford to buy sausage rolls if you're having to be supported by the council / rate payers?
Nice hot veggie pasty from Greggs used to be a hangover cure of mine.
It was the shortest queue, I was hungry & I think they saw me coming.BTW, it was beef & horseradish, & it was excellent!!
who said i was being supported by council/rate payers?
I bought the corned beef pasties on special offer last week, taken from the hot display cabinet, stone cold.
That is miraculous.

My son loves sausage rolls, do i now have to move to a council estate. Also I'm a net benefit loser as I get stuff all from the government, perhaps Greggs could give me free pies to make up for it.
they have stopped using pie warmers and have installed those lights which are supposed to keep the food warm - but dont.

if your food isnt hot when you get it use your rights as a customer and take it back. we british just dont believe in complaining like most other nationalities.
Best-tasting Scotch Pies in my area, and cheaper than elsewhere, Demand is high, and they're baked in store, so sometimes have to wait for them to come from the oven. Hot? I have to ask for double-bagging just to be able to carry them!
mmmmm I always have the cheese(and onion) pasty, sometimes the sausage and bean melt. Brilliant!
Beans and sausage is nice, but only if warm! The people who work there don't seem to care about the needs of the pasties to be warm! not Fair!
gina32 i think you should stop now, you're confirming the worst. Try reading the thread again slowly
