Really been struggling with this quiz, stuck on the following, all names of comic strips, or programme or characters (no number of letters given):

17. New wave band, huge string of hits
21. Cold sweets

Brilliant Quizonkey, would never have got that one, have just looked up Banana Splits, it says it wasn't actual cartoon, but within the programme they showed cartoons, think I may still go with it, it's the best answer so far. Thanks again for Blondie!

I'm doing this quiz. Stuck on a few myself. Thought the New Wave band could be Duran Duran or Thompson Twins.

Yes! Thompson Twins were from Tintin, thank you very much bugs, think I will have to put Blondie as well though, looking that up it was an old cartoon as well. It's a shame they don't give the number of letters on these quizzes, as it would give a better idea as to whether we were on the right track. I have now got an answer for each one, but some are not brilliant, but let me know if you need any more, and i can say what I have put!

Well Bookwormer, I'm stuck on the first one, numbers 7 & 25. By the way, Ive put Banana splits for 21 as well. I've never heard of Blondie as a cartoon, but then I've never been into cartoons anyway. This is the one quiz from FroGS Ive struggled with. Thanks for your help.

I'm not going to be much help I'm afraid, the questions you wanted are my 'iffy ones'. I have ended up putting the following:
1. **** Robin
7. Jonah
25. Minx (as in minnie)

I really don't think they are right, but in the end went for them. By the way, if you google Blondie it is definitely an old cartoon strip from many years ago, but there again Thompson Twins are from Tin Tin so I really don't know which they are after! Sorry couldn't be more help.

The first one, I'm not sure whether the dashes relate to the exact number of letters. I havnt got number 10 either?? I've just been wondering if number 7 could be Jinx.

I've got Winnie the Pooh for number 10, there again not absolutely sure, but best I could come up with, have just googled Jinx and I think you could be right, thanks very much for that.

I wondered if number 10 could be Daffy Duck? You could be right with that one though. Still unsure about The New Wave band? Maybe she will be lenient with the answers. It's all good fun anyway. Thanks for your help.

It's so difficult to confirm answerswhen they don't give numbre of letters, I think we'll just have to hope for the best, good luck and thanks for your help too.
