what car to buy?

I have recently become a Grandmother and now need a car of my own as I am taking on some of the childcare. I need a boot big enough to take pram wheels and body . I have approx. �3000.00 - �5000.00 to spend. I have seen a VW Polo 1.2 at �4999.00 year 02 , is this a good price ? or is there something better? Please advise on most practical and reliable.

Hi - have you tried looking at a 2nd hand Skoda Octavia - they are very roomy and have a HUGE boot .... you'd get 2 prams in there !
