I have taken delivery of a new 37" LCD TV and I think I may have made a bit of a mistake.I have just noticed that nowhere in the documetaion does it say anything about it being a digital TV. I went ahead and set up the TV anyway, and plugged it into my Sky Digi Box via a Scart. Although everything looks ok, does the TV not being digital mean that I am viewing my digital TV in analogue?

Also, The TV is HD ready and I am think of getting a Sky HD box. I know that I will then be able to watch HD channels, but will I be losing picture quality because my tv is not digital?

Surely if it is HD it is digital.

What make and model is it?
All LCD TVs are digital.

Also as Ethel says, if it is HD ready it must be digital.

Thanks for all your answers. I did actually think it was digital because it was HD, but I was not 100% sure.
Not all LCD TVs are digital and a TV can be HD ready without being digital per se.

My daughter has just bought the following

http://www.polaroid.com/global/detail.jsp?pc=P T171&PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441764763

It is LCD and HD ready but requires a digital source such as a freeview box to provide digital channels.

Incidentally, it is perfectly OK to plug a digital source into a TV that is itself digital.
