Tattoo's
9 Answers
Hi, I am planning to get a small tattoo on my lower back of a simple, elegant and feminine cross. I have a couple of questions that I need help on.
1. Does anyone know of any sites I can try to get some inspiration for my tattoo (I want to design it myself to make it unique to me)?
2. Can anyone recommend any good available tattooists in the southern Hampshire area?
Help would be appreciated

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.i had my tattoo done by louis malloy in middleton manchester and so did my partner ( his is the bull in the gallery) this is something you will live with for a long time so i would recommend travelling to him ( he does all the beckhams tattoos) he isn't through the roof expensive but you will need to book and wait around 2 months but you will not be dissapointed my partner designed his with him.
If you live in hampshire the Portsmouth is the place to go. I hear that Paul Harris is recommended n the biker community

Personally I don't think there is such a thing as tasteful tattoo they all look common but that's just me I guess. I think Joan Collins said it best when she pointed out "Grandmother used to take my mother to the circus to see the fat lady and tattooed man - now they're everywhere."

a tattoo is a personal thing, i have three and all are hidden, i know i have them and thats all that matters should i want anyone to see them i will show them myself, why do people wear necklaces and then wear a high collar and cover them, all amounts to the same thing same with nipple piercings??? men have tattoos on legs but dont go around wearing shorts to show them off
Hmm, with nipple piercings and tattoos on legs, arms etc at least you can look down and see the thing if you want to and, I presume, derive some pleasure from that? It just seems a little odd to get something like this done and then not even be able to see it yourself - unless of course you're a contortionist! Each to their own though.

I hadn't been aware of any preconceived ideas about girls who have tattoos on their lower back. Its a bit narrow minded to think like that. I know plenty of people who have tattoos on their backs and it wouldn't even cross your mind that they were tarts.
As many people have said, I think body art is a freedom of expression and everyone is different. Some people like it, some dont! I personanlly can't wait to have one done.
Thanks again,
