kazaa download problem

kazaa was working great until a couple of weeks ago - now i can't seem to download anything - everything i try to download either gets queued or says "more sources needed." the only thing i've managed to get off the net are two corrupted tracks. is anyone else having this problem? is this another record company conspiracy?

probably just coincidence.are the files you have been trying to dl uncommon ? try dl'ing something that is bound to be on there in abundance to test kazaa

kazaa is crap, delete it. It is full of bundled software and spyware and it is also not too user friendly. download and install the free version of limewire, it is just limewire no extra stuff like advertising of any kind or spyware.

I have tried Limewire...part of the gnutella network, and you get the same crappy files that you get from kazaa and all the others. I have resorted to the old fashioned way of buying the music I'm afraid.

1- SP2 patch just release from Microsoft for Windows XP maybe part of the problem. 2- Kazaa isn't open source and there won't be real update to come(obsolete). 3- Because I've got similar problem I choose www.shareaza.com. It's open source like Linux: that's mean real freedom, no $, and real support for a while!!!

I have the same problem. You get that white-noise half way through the track. Kazaa is poo now. I had Kazaa lit but havn't used it for a year now. I think it is a record company conspiracy. Most people obviously don't delete the corrupted tracks from their file so the number of corrupted tracks increases. I buy my music from play or cd-wow now. I'm sick of downloading - I promise you I don't work for a record company - I'm just disillusioned.
