we were stood in HMV me and my other alf and he asked me whether i wanted a DVD box set (among other things) for my birthday, i declined nicely just tolling up how much money he mustve aleady spent

yesterday i opened my presents and there was this box set. He said he picked it up and paid for it right under my nose!..which is true because i was stood at the till with him!!

now is he clever or am i just stupid!

other than that though i had a wonderful day and got many lovely presents

I am not in the least bit sexist but it is fair to say that the weaker sex is indeed rather unaware of their spatial environment. This is evidenced by their driving skills in particular. Yes, they drive slower and less aggressively than perhaps males, but on the whole, they can not see the wood through the trees.

It is not necessiarly a genetic code, just a nurturing of worrying about chocolate, periods and whether Johnny Depp is single.

well you could be right about jonny depp although i dont really like chocolate all that much!

i think i just expected him not to get it because i said i didnt want it....although really i did..

Just be grateful you didn't end up with a oil painting of me and my hubby that he made as a surprise.... at least it kept my son away from the fire!

spatial awareness is a different thing to observance, women actually have a much wider sight thingy (sorry forgotten the right words) than men, what I mean is a woman can see more to the sides of her when she's looking straight forward than a man can.

heh- i remember once admiring a diamante necklace in a shop window. It was truly gross, but the shop had made it look very pretty, displayed on black velvet with lights shining on it, it was very twinkly....

How crushed was I when I got it as part of my Christmas presents???
