It also depends if you are going to eat in the caravan each night (cook your own food) or eat out.
It also depends if you are going to sit on the beach all day and spend little, or take the kids to a theme park each day and spend a lot.
I think it is very difficult to give a figure as each family can be different.
Some people could get by on say 50 a day if you were fairly frugal, other may spend 50 on just drink in the evening.
Main costs:
Food & Petrol.
Entertainment (entrance to farms, castles or whatever you do)
Ice creams and other treats.
Drinks & crisps if you go to the bar in the evening.
One definate: whatever you budget you will spend more !

I love Weymouth and often go there from London with my family. Now living in London is expensive so anywhere for us is normally cheaper but having said that, place like Weymouth are starting to shoot the golden gooses. The money you mentioned for the amount of time seems to be alright. A visit to Lyme Regis by bus ( if you dont drive) is a cheap day out and a must do. Weymouth is very much like any UK seaside town ( but much better looking) It has its town centre with all the usual shops and eats. I found cafes on the beach front expensive so a litlle walk into town and you see a small decrease in costs. Weatherspoon is dead cheap . The far end of the beach ( forgotton the name but is next to park n ride/ travellodge) is a beefeater which is reasonable and if you walk another ten minutes along the coast road ( as if you goining out of town) up on the hill / cliff there is another beefeater with stunning views. have a good time
In the caravan site there will be lots of pamphlets of where to go and posters etc. There are ferry trips, Monkey World, lots of places of interest, great walks accross the downs, plus Dorchester nearby. Have been to the site many times. Weymouth is lovely, one of my favourites. It has kept a modern town but also the old part. I went one year in May and snow was on the hills surrounding Weymouth, fantastic! Have a great holiday.
