How could we improve young pweoples bodies and souls ?

how about a 6 months national service for 16 year olds?
instead of the proposed 6 weeks in the news section ?

Ratter Im sure the parents arent always at fault, I know some really decent people that are at their wits ends with their kids behaviour :( I do agree though that a nice community and a good education makes a big difference.

Legend if you suggest putting children in the army then it is a war post, armies are ultimately for war. My point is if there's any kind of conscription there's a chance they could get dragged into war (whether the war is just or not)

to clarify for the pedantic amongst you.
they would not travel from the country . nor fight anywhere.weapons training yes.then they might decide to join up,as they can at the moment.
our nation ruled the world with armies consisting of young boys. so if you wanna debate boy soldiers i suggest you post a seperate thread : - )

I think a community based thing is a great idea, not so the national service thing. Im afraid i would be arrested if they brought this out, no kid of mine would be taken and forced to be in any army.

triggerhappy is right about stuff like the grafitti wall, a few years back a group of kids tidied up some waste ground at the side of a railway bridge in our town and totally painted the wall to each of thems own design. It was brilliant, the kids enjoyed what they were doing and were all dead chuffed when it was finished.
