Wow, it's a dangerous place to live isn't it just ... full of nut jobs. David planning to do something unspeakable to his mother and the egregious Casey as mad as a hatter and smiling all the time!
By the way, someone here said that abominable, devil-child David was going to have been responsible for the fire at Clare and Ashleys, and it turned out to be Casey (about whom we'd all surely forgotten when it happened, hadn't we?)
So what is David going to do, for goodness sake? Cut up his sister to make firelighters for the winter or feed his mother to the cat? And one does have to say, irritating as Gail might be, to be the unwitting victim of one dark killer is bad enough, but to then be the victim of a second is pushing her awfully hard.
Maybe they'll put her in the next bed to Casey in the local hospital for the insane?

well crossroads was on here the other week, the week little rhys was lost actually, saying that a future storyline involved david killing his sister sarah at her wedding by accident with a gun, at the time i said that granada would not go with that storyline, but after the episode tonight, i am not so sure.
Well, we've got some interesting conflicts of opinion here then, haven't we? Just so long as SOMETHING happens to wipe that inane grin off devil-boy's face!!!!!
Mind you, I'll miss him if he goes out of the series, he's a damn good little actor. He was an excellent choice, because so many of the children they chose to grow up as 'soap-kids' are appalling actors and actresses!

Here's some spoilers:
David's indignant when Gail mentions that she'd like him to start paying rent now that he's working. He's furious and refuses to give her a penny, claiming that she's just trying to punish him for not staying on at school.
Later, when Gail is unpacking her shopping David and Darryl are playing with the air rifle and David decides to teach Gail a lesson by shooting a hole in her shopping. When Gail realises what's happened she immediately accuses David and drags him back into the house to tidy up the mess he's made.
However, that afternoon, after having a chat with Gail, Audrey gives David his wages minus the money Gail has asked him to pay her towards the house. David's livid and after having a blazing row with his mum, he packs his bags and walks out of the house, telling Gail to have a happy life. Gail's incredulous but worried about what David might do next. What is he capable of?
Gail's sick with worry about David and when the police arrive she braces herself for bad news. However, she's shocked when she learns that David's been picked up by the police in town who haven't brought him home because he's alleging that Gail assaulted him before throwing him out of the house! Gail's devastated as the police question her and inform her that they'll be notifying social services. Later, the police return with David sporting a black eye and cuts and bruises. The police have dropped the charges against Gail and warned David about wasting police time. Gail can�t understand why he would be so spiteful as to try and get her arrested, but David tells her that she is the one who hates him! Will Gail ever get through to her troubled son?
Bethany's distraught when she finds her doll's hair has been hacked off by David who simply says he was practicing for work and didn�t think she played with that doll any more. Gail is furious knowing that David is deliberately trying to cause
