what can i take for wisdom teeth?

does anyone know what if anything i can take for wisdom tooth pain? they flared up before i was pregnant and i was on 2 different courses of antibiotics and antiinflammatories for about 2 1/2 months!! i was in agony.....worst pain ive ever experienced as it gave me sinusitus too. the one has swelled up recently again, its tolerable but im just hoping it doesnt get worse as i dont think i can take anything. I know they say paracetomal is okay, but im still reluctant to take this as i dont believe its good for the baby regardless. what about bongela? i know you'll all say to go to the dentist but i HATE the dentist and ive only got 9 weeks left of my pregnancy.......i think id rather give birth twice than go to the dentist!!! And they were cr@p last time and gave me anti-biotics that didnt work. HELP!!!

Go to your chemist and check that things like anbesol or clove oil are safe to use. I think they work better than bonjela. If you need to take a couple of paracetamol, it really will not harm your baby. Just dont take more than the maximum dose and not for too long. Again, ask your chemist if you want more reassurance.

yeah, i could ask the chemist....i dont think youre allowed to put clove oil directly onto gums tho, i think its for dental work or root damage stuff.....but thanx

Ive rubbed clove oil on a tooth and all around before. Mind you, it was the most disgusting thing Iv ever tasted........I couldnt stop gagging! lol

hahaha yeah i used clove oil before and it stank! and i couldnt get the smell off my hands or the inside of my bag!!
