wep key and network key.
hi there - i want to connect another laptop to wireless network, but it keeps asking me for the network key - could you please advise me on the steps to take to get the network key off the current internet connected laptop.

You need to access your router admin page - normally by typing:
192.168.1.1
in the address bar at the top of the screen. All routers have different layouts with different headings, but you are looking for 'wireless security' or similar.
You should find your key there - a series of letters and numbers.
