Report Button

Not really a suggestion, just to say that the report button is not only for abusive messages. If you click it, a list of options comes up including incorrect category. Just a thought because perhaps not everyone realises this?

I've used it a lot. The most common thing seems to be "Wrong Category".

Also can you make it less obvious than the 'post an answer' button? I keep clicking on it by mistake as it's just so damn clickable!

ABEd: Does "Duplicate Question" refer to:

1: The times where someone has inadvertently pressed "Submit" too many times, resulting in the exact same question being posted multiple times (or when, for some reason, they have re-worded the question)?

2: When someone has re-posted the same question they asked a little while back because they didn't get an answer?

3: "Tasty, tasty", "DFS", "Marlboro", "Every one's a fluffy one", "Ipod tune" etc etc?

I'm suspecting "1". "2" is annoying, though as there is no other way to "bump" questions, I can understand why people resort to it. I suspect that "3" isn't what you mean - if it is, you could be in for a lot of reports!

Yes, it would be a good idea to swap "Report this question" and "post an answer" around.

vinny100: Not sure we can divide my wages into smaller amounts than at present, so may have ot pass on that one.

LeMarchand: No.1: when the same person posts duplicates. (And I'm on hand to answer the Bran Flakes question so you lot don't have to)

The Report button must be a great help in keeping your site neat and clean. But could you add a positive element � categories for "Really Informative" and "Very Funny"? . I wouldn't want to clutter the threads with lots of Well done!s but I would like to be able to express my appreciation somehow. The humorous postings must be extremely tricky to moderate - most humour has the potential to offend. But sometimes they're splendid. Although I haven't yet fallen off my chair, several times I've had to lean against the arms. Knowing that lots of people liked an answer enough to comment could provide useful balancing input.
