Tried to buy a Telegraph this morning at our local Tesco store but they have been taken off the shelf. Could see a pile of them but the girl said she couldn''t sell them Does anyone know why?

That's happened to me before down the local newsagent.
The reason I couldnt buy one is that a dog ****** on them!!

There was physically wrong with them could see the pile behind the desk
Sometimes papers try to print a story and then someone will get a court injunction preventing that story from being printed, maybe this had happened late.

I have managed to get one from a small local shop
It's possible that the DT hadn't been put on Tesco's computer, which means that they can't accept any money for it - it may sound barmy but I've seen this happen with other products (in a different store) and read on another forum of a similar thing happening earleir in the week.
