there is quite a lot of information there.
I have a scar that runs from the first joint of my middle finger to the centre of the palm of my hand. For 15 years I had no problem and then suddenly it all swelled up and went hard. Went to the doctor who said it was a keloid scar. She used to work as assistant to a plastic surgeon and it was one of the things she had to look out for. I asked if it would stay like that or what. She said probably. About 2 months later all the swelling went again and its been back to normal for the last couple of years. I don't know if this is of any help, but at least you know it might get better on its own.
I'm a Body Piercer of several years,I 've seen my share of keloid's,I have used an tripple antibiotic called Bacitracin with zink. This has prove usefull in reducing the size of the keloid, also vitaman e oil will help breakup the scar tissue.Use the Bacitracin 3 0r 4 times daily, wash hands before applying! use vitaman e oil by massaging into keloid before bedtime! you should see improvement in 2or 3 weeks.
Use Bio-oil u can get it from Boots and lloyd's chemist. It's good but it may take a while to take effect... I have a keloid on my chest and its been there for three years now it bugs me!!! i hardly ever take my shirt off in summer because of it, it's unsightly. Make sure you buy plenty of vitamin e (200mg) tablets, NOT the gelatin-type because it's not proper organic ingredient.
Hope it goes well.
