Since i've been driving I have had three second hand cars, all over 7 years old. I always seem to have problems and having to spend out constantly.
Anyway this time, I want a good car but can only afford 2500. The above cars I seem to think will be very economical. With the Ford KA which I can find plenty of in my price range, people have mixed opinions, dont they. I dont know if its a good enough car.
What do you think. I want something low milage, I drive 50 miles a day so needs to be reliable and goes easy on petrol. Also cheap to fix etc.

What about SKODA, they have won various awards this year on reliability... you could pick up a 2000 Fabia for that price. Apparently Skoda have the same parts as VW and Audi, they have the same shells... so a Fabia is based on a Golf ... personally I've had good experiences with Mazdas and Fords and bad experiences with Rovers, and Vauxhalls. Good luck.
fiat punto over 50000 miles because everything that can go wrong on them has and been fixed at that milage. cheap to run, cheap tax + ins, cheap parts. pick a decent one up for 2K.
