If you pay taxes in an Eu state then some of those taxes go to the European union, with around 33 billion EUROS being spent on agriculture, I would imagine some of your money might go to any country that needs it.
Brionon, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there an FMD outbreak in France, not too long ago, which (because of the way the wind was blowing at the time) caused an outbreak in the Isle of Wight?
It's all very well for you to sit smugly over there & say "We haven't got FMD in Europe" - Europe has had its fair share in the past and no doubt will do again, although I wouldn't want ot wish it on anyone. By the way, are you vegetarian?
