Type of paint?

I have wooden side entrance doors and they have been painted dark brown with creosote by the previous owners and I hate them. I want to paint then a different colour, but dont know which paint to use. Can anyone tell me which paint to buy. Thank you

You'll have to paint it first with aluminium primer to stop the creosote 'bleeding' through the subsequent coats of paint. You can then undercoat & gloss them.

Thanks for the advice. Looks like I have a much longer job on my hands, hope the weather holds out.
