Hi All,

I have 98 (R) citroen xsara with a dead key remote (the remote is no longer working) I've changed the battery etc but to no avail. Speaking to citroen, they say i need a new key / transponder.

I can obtain a replacment key second hand however it would need to be programmed to the car.

I looked in to this, however im getting mixed views on if this is possable?

does anyone know? Help???

(btw...its a 2 button remote, one button unlocks/locks the doors, the second deadlocks the car)

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give
