Rod stewert was my first thought but I,ve seen Michael Parkinson suggested as well, but as hazlinny have nothing definate on either.
what is 18.3m long and 1.07m wide? I've checked several of the suggestions (bowling alley long jump pit etc) and they just dont fit

in the horizon factfinder book it says that a ten pin bowling lane is 18.3 m long and 1.07 m wide hope this helps.
