Dodgy eye test
1 Answers
I had an eye test at the hospital a few weeks ago where they put eye drops in your eyes to dilate the pupils, so they can see the retina clearly etc. (Tropicamide drops).
This stuff makes your eyes go blurry and you can't focus close up at all. 3 weeks later, I can't read my watch if it is 6 inches from my face- it is blurry and gives me a headache when I try. I wear glasses for short sight, but I have always been able to see very tiny details very close up. I am positive that this has been caused by the eye test.
Has anyone else ever had this done, or had any problems with it?

Do you mean that your normal vision never came back after the test ? You should go back to your GP, visit your optician or even contact the hospital for advice.
