So, whats the best flavour of ice cream in your opinion? I personally go weak at the knees for coffee flavour, but nobody else seems to like it!

British ice cream 'flavour' usually seems to mean having bits of something in it. If you get ice creams abroad, they're usually smooth and creamy, which I much prefer (unless I'm having sorbet). I had a lush coconut one in the USA this year, and a very nice orange one in New Zealand... see, I'm prepared to go a long way for a good ice cream.

Here in the Southern USA, we call those a
"Coke Float" - none for me please - although I will eat the most calorie laden ice cream and drink Diet Coke with it:)

Coffee for me - I found that if you make up a Nescafe Frappe and freeze it, it tastes yummy, also mix crushed strawberries and some double cream and freeze that, so good. Naughty though.

Brown bread is my favourite. Make a praline of brown bread and dark brown sugar in the oven, crush and add to vanilla . Yum.

Coffee is my fave too. Have you tried making your own? Just get really good vanilla and sprinkle with coffee granules, I like quite a strong taste and use nescafe Alta Rica. You don't need much coffee, about half a teaspoon. Just squish them in a bit, they will start to disolve and you get lovely bitter/sweet combination

I remember Chubby Hubby too. I went to the Ben & Jerry Ice Cream cave in Vermont a few years ago. Wonderful. The samples they gave us were Dublin Mudslide and one with swirls of chocolate caramel through. Don't know what it was called but it was fantastic.
