Is something weird going on in the universe?

Everyone I speak to at the moment is having a crises whether a major or a minor one. Is it just coincidence or is it happening to you too? Why do these things seem to go in runs?
Worst of all is our neighbours 15 year old daughter has now been missing for 2 weeks and it's not looking good.
Friends husband broke leg at work and company won't pay him sick pay.
I have been ocompletely ut of action for two weeks with inflammation of the spinal discs.
My friend got married on Saturday and her dog ran off from the person who was looking after her and she fractured her spine after being kicked by a horse.
Another friend went to hospital for an overnight op and is still there 3 weeks later.
Colleague still off after 6 weeks following an op that she should have recovered from in 3.
