Both these countries, I believe, are looking for tradesmen and trained people in the health industry. If you have a trade qualification with experience or you work at a mid-to-senior level in a hospital (i.e. nursing level or above) then you've a good chance. You also probably need to be under 35.

Otherwise, you need a big wad of cash... CAD$800,000 for Canada and, when I tried, I think it was the equivalent of �120,000.
