Good Restaurants In The Lakes for veggies and meat/fish lovers

Can anyone recommend any places to eat in Cumbria which have good food and menus which would give good choices to both meat/fish-eaters and vegetarians?
i.e. not the usual meat and fish menu with 1 veggie option that you have to "like it or lump it". The vegetarian options should include some non cheese sources of protein if possible.
Organic food would be even better.

if you're in Ambleside try Lucy4's, its a tapas bar type place acroos the road from Lucy's The food is graet and loads of choices.
