DVD recorder help!!
4 Answers
I am going to buy a DVD recorder but notice that the Discs for them only go up to 120 minutes (PC World & Argos). The Recorder says you can record up to 10 hours. Is it like the video SP/LP? How do you fit a film on DVD longer than 120 minutes!
Yes, I know I am probably being thick at the moment, but its been a long day.
Thanks anyway.

So if you go out on a night and want to record something make sure you leave your telly on !! Not good as if you want to record something late at night you have to leave your tv on. You can't even leave tv on standby either. Seems a bit daft from someone as good as Sony.
Nothing to do with whether it's a Sony but all down to whether or not it has its own tuner. If it doesn't then obviously it needs to get the signal from somewhere - like the AV output of your telly. But if your telly's not on, then there won't be any output!
So, just make sure you get one with a built-in tuner
