Weather in Sharm el Sheikh october half term week 23-30th

Anyone advise me of what the weather will be like in Sharm el Sheikh late october? Has anyone been to the Grand Azure Hotel in Sharm el Sheikh? Ive herard very mixed review am looking to go in october

Went half term week in October last year and are going back again next week. It was very hot 35-40oC. The only downside is that it is pitch black by 16.00. So if you want a full day out or a full days sun, you need to be up at 05.00! We loved it there. We stayed at the Tropicana Grand Oasis but we went to the Grand Azure. It was being done up at the time and looked like a building site, but a year on it will probably be finished. Dont expect our 5* it is probably be more like 3*. What you will get is staff that cant do enough for you and very high standards of cleanliness in the hotel and rooms. Food is hit and miss, everyone we met during the holiday and on excursions had been ill. We were sensible stuck to the right foods and drink and none of us were ill, that included our children aged 4 & 9 at the time. Make sure you get a good mask and snorkel set before you go. I am not one for the sea especially snorkelling but you couldn't keep me out of there it was amazing. If you do any trips the jeep/camel desert safari is a must. Go! you will not regret it!Hope this helps. Practise you haggling techniques you will need it!
