Oil recommendations...

...for use in a 1995 1.2 Corsa with 97k on the clock. The manual says '10/40' but this is obviously when newer than 12 years old. On an older engine is there benefit in using a different spec. oil? Car is used for short local journeys of around 20 miles daily during the week - with a 400m round trip up the M6 and back every fortnight. Thanks

If it has been serviced quite well and is not an old smoker,I would continue to use 10/40 this is not a high mileage for modern engine
