can anyone recomend a place to go mid october for this? i was thinking of maybe cuba or mexico but its the hurricaine season isnt it. what about thailand? is that fun, my b/f tends to get bored sat on a beach so need things to do!!!

I am going to Thailand on 20th October, this will be my second time. Combine a couple of nights in Bangkok with a beach resort in Phuket, Ko Samui etc. No need to get bored, last year did elephant trekking, kayaking, scuba diving, fishing. It was very cheap, fantastic weather and the people are so hospitable and friendly. Bangkok is also fantastic for shopping.

loads to do in Thailand. We went to Phuket. you ac go scoober diving. Canooing round the mangroves thru bat caves. There is a gun shooting range. Elephant rides. Jet skiing. People lovely & good food.
