Best place to find a small dog to rehome?
My elderly mother has just lost her cavalier king charles spaniel around which her life pretty much revolved, and I wonder if anyone knows the best way to find a similar sized young adult dog for rehoming.
She's a bit long in the tooth to train a puppy and I was thinking a Westie would be a great companion, but where's the best place to look?

i Have an 11 year old tri-colour male , his name is Bingo, he barks at every knock at the door and so is a good guard dog, he eats anything, especially if it is in your fridge or the bin, he can go out for walks on his own, especially when the binmen leave the gate open, he is very good at ignoring you when you go away on holiday and leave him, he has two facial expressions, 'who do you think you are talking to' and ' not a chance'. he is very loving and friendly, you can pick him up anytime you like. :))
