A lot of foods now carry a warning that they might contain traces of nuts, even though there should not be any at all so, as Tha-Flash says, it always pays to scrutinize the packaging if you're at all concerned.

does coconut count as a nut? nice biscuits have that in.

There are not any nuts in nice biscuits (and no coconut doesnt count as nuts)

Nice biscuits have coconut in them. Although coconut is not a proper nut, some nut allergy sufferers (including me) are allergic to it. I have to be extra careful when checking ingredients.
