I'm trying to remember which part of the BBC web site lets you look at programme information from years ago.

It used to allow you to find out info about the production crew, script writers, directors and editors etc. . .

Can anyone help.

Infax is the BBC internal database for programme information.
There is an online version that gives some of the info...

Great web site link. That's the very one I was looking for.

I think there might also be a web site which gives you info about who composed the theme music to a TV show and also actual scripts from the programmes.
Then again, maybe not.

There is info on some cult shows.
The BBC cult web pages are no longer updated, but some info about transmission times may be found for some programmes here...

for comedy, there is the BBC comedy guide. These web pages are being updated at the moment, but here is the web address for when it does return...

I wouldn't say either are as detailed as you would like.

If you are a Doctor Who fan, the programme as broadcast ( known as PasB's ) notes are included for almost all the classic series ( and you will see a few details for programmes before or after each episode of Who )...
