Tough one that.... I've seen the Prodigy a few times and they takes some beating. Their cover of Ghost Town live at Reading one year was 'king ace. But I think the light show is very important for electronic acts of which The Orb have had me mesmerised at Glasto '92. Seen the Chems at Reading, but didn't rate the show really. I think it was too quiet and not enough strobes ;o). Would have been awesome otherwise.
I have seen Chemical Brothers about 5 times but nothing beats Leftfield that year and it has nothing to do with me being off my trolley. There sound system was so loud that apparently it could be heard over fat boy slim and the pet shop boys in places.
This was without a shadow of doubt the best night of my life....
Earsugar, Im all indie and metal but these sounds of the 90s make me wanna be back dancing in a field half naked with strangers. Im off to get some neon body paint and glo sticks.
If you're near Swindon on 19th October, Dreadzone are playing at the 12 Bar... I'm not sure it'll be any good though as it's a converted Pub!! Might be worth the gamble for a tenner though.
