Is this any good? Is it monitored for illegal music downloading more than Kazaa, Limewire etc etc?

Have never heard of it, but I do know a tiny bit about what is good to use and what is not at the moment.
Kazaa is the most hot for being watched by the offical people that want to fine you.
Next in line is the likes of Limewire..as so far you have rightly suggested.
However there is one programme to use that I have been using for a while and it is very good indeed. Shareaza.
Search for it online.. Its free. Its not hardly watched at all by the official bods and even if it is, its harder to trace people because it uses different serves in a way that is unique compared to Kazaa.
A tip....if you take out all your downloaded music from the offical download file it saves it to and you put the music in your own made file on your PC then the officals will have a hard job proving how much your have downloaded.
It generally works like this....officials get permission from Internet providers to look into PC's that have certain programmes downloaded, if they see in the downloads folder that you have downloaded 10,000 songs, your in big trouble....if you take them out of that folder and onto your PC...they wont find out as easily. However if you have only say 50-100 songs in that folder for the programme then the chances are they will leave you alone. Or at least until they have wiped out all the big players. Then they may come for you. Its because they cant really justify taking you to court over 50 odd songs..how much are they actually going to lose out on by taking you to court and setting up the case? Exactly.
