InterNet Explorer not working

Hi, my internet explorer just stop working a few weeks ago, it had some toolbars installed (spyware) and it just stop working, i then used many programs such as Advance Uninstaller, spysweeper, Ad-aware, etc. Now I have got rid of all the toolbars and i'm pretty sure there's no spyware to be found on the PC, but the Internet Explorer is still not working, I can use Kazaa to download stuff, my Network connection is fine (I can get stuff from others on my network) but that's about it, Nothing else works through the internet, (WinMX, BT...), can anyone help?

What EXACTLY do you mean by 'not working'? If you explain this more, we may be able to help

it loads up as the default page when the internet is not connected, and the bottom said cannot connect to server or DNS error

are u on a straight connection or shared? are u on wireless or cable? and have u tried using a difernet browser? try opera or firefox. both r free and vastly superior to ie. Another thing you could do is: control panel, internet options,advanced, restore defaults. If it still doesnt work try changing some of th other options in internet options. Tell me if u are successful.

I am on wireless, sharing with my neighbor, the connections with the internet was fine before the spyware, now i've tried pretty much everything and the page still say "The page cannot be display" Like when you type an address that does not exist.  But the weird thing is that Kazaa still works and i can still communicate with my network, right now i just wanted to know how to Reinstall the IE6 completely, and i've try the Microsoft website, that doesnt' work(you need internet connections in order to download IE6), so what are the other options?

see theres your problem... kazaa! its evil... use winmx instead.Might not fixx the problem, but it shure aint guna do any harm!
