French songs - arab sound - help!

Me and my friend have recently travelled in france.... and 2 songs dominating the airwaves on FUN and some other frence stations were the latest vanessa paradis song and another kind of dance track that sounded a bit Arab... and there's a bit in it that sounds (to me) like computerised dog woofing. If you don't understand the last bit then just listen to the first bit and please let me know!!
