An impressive looking car
Must also be reliable.
Normally buy high mileage cars with a full dealer history that have been maintained well as I see these as the best bargains.
Currently looking at a Vauxhall Omega 2.2CDX dti. Would also consider a Saab 9-3.
Any other ideas of high mileage cars than are realiable, look good and economical?
Cheers

For economy you could look for a car that has a diesel version. The Vauxhall Omega is a nice car, and lots of car for your money as they don't cost a lot when used.
How about a Jeep Cherokee? OK, not really economical. It's hard to get something a little different and economy.. It depends on what size engine you are after, 1.6, 2.0 litre or more?
How about a Honda Civic, get the 5 door version in a black or a dark colour.

The engines are bomb proof and they last forever if looked after, they are a very smart looking car and not the usual run of the mill vectra type that you want to avoid.
in fact most used exec cars are fab value for money , but theres nowt wrong with a top spec mondeo or vectra- all the executive toys, space, comfort and power with family car affordibility(the high spec models are also pretty exclusive compared to run of mill lx models)
