Don't you guys observe it any more? As a kid I was a member of the ATC (Does that still exist also?!) and it was sort of ingrained into me, the date that is. We don't observe it here in Canada; but, for some reason, we observe 'Battle of the Atlantic Sunday'.

Here in the Isle of Man we still observe it tomorrow there is a Parade and chruch service and the Lt Govenor will be taking the salute

Its also been 24 years to the day since my first day at school apparently. Is that worth celebrating?
