i have a lateral thigh trainer which i use at least twice a week, + running twice a week + aerobics once a week, so variety is best! i love my LTT as its small and tucks behind the sofa, use it whislt watching holby city etc!
in my new house we have enclosed the side area, here we have:
treadmill, lateral stepper, various weights, dyno band, abs ball, yoga mat.
To keep my moativation other halfs put me in tv, dvd, wireless headphones. (Fatboyslim brighton beach is by far the best dvd!!)
Its great, do a variety of circuits nearly every night, been 10 weeks now and defo noticed a difference.
Also try do class once or twice a week instead of at home to vary it.

i did my 3.5mile jog this morning, soooooooo blustery and cold!! but loads of people out running so wasnt alone! i love it when its like that, at least u cant overheat! But I also love the indoor activites too, do rosemary conley once a week which is hysterical as i`m soooooo un-cordinated.
