what are the penalties fo driving with no mot and no valid insurance also can i go to prison

From memory there are only five "purely driving" offences which can attract a prison sentence:
Causing Death by Dangerous Driving
Dangerous Driving
Driving Whilst Disqualified
Excess Alcohol (and the associated failing to provide a specimen)
Failing to Stop/Report
There may be others but I cannot immediately think of any.
Of ourse there are offences involving dishonesty and driving (e.g. Taking without consent, Aggravated Vehicle taking, etc) but I do not see these as driving offences.
