Are you trying to find your father or trace your family history? Either way you could do worse than try friendsreunited or genesreunited.

Hi there another site you could try is ancestry.co.uk it is free for a trial period then you pay a fee which allows you access to BMD records. If you use Genes reunited you have to use credits to access the records (costs�5 & valid only for 7 days) & it can work out expensive. i have paid �79.95 for a years subscription to Ancestry & use it frequently. I also paid out �80 to genes & haven't got the same amount of info. Good luck Genny
