Great phone, but how do I turn the keytones off?!

ok, not really that familiar with your phone but if you have keypad tones options use that ( if they are greyed out, change the wallpaper from theme to normal and they should then be accessible ) if you dont have keypad tone options at all, use the volume keys at the side of your phone.....this will not affect the ring volume if someone calls you. hope this helps. ( i have the u600 )

Thanks. Worked it out after posting - was missing something really obvious! Any idea where you can get instructions for the camera, which has so many options, none of which are explained in the very basic manual. I'm not daft but learning by trial and error will take all year.

the manual is the same as the one for the u600, as you say very basic. the best way is to just play about with the settings unless there is something specific you want to know how to do. you could join the samsung funclub where there is forums with lots of help from other users. i use it alot.
